Taylor enjoying Premier League challenge
Left-back Charlie Taylor is enjoying life in the Premier League after becoming established in Burnley's starting XI this season.
Former England youth international Taylor originally joined the Clarets from Leeds during the summer of 2017 but was limited to just 10 league starts during his first campaign in the top flight, with Stephen Ward being generally preferred at left-back.
However, an injury to Ward early this season handed Taylor a chance to establish himself in Sean Dyche's starting line-up and he hasn't looked back since, making 36 appearances across all competitions this term.
The 25-year-old is enjoying being a Premier League regular and pitting himself against some of the best players in the world on a weekly basis.
"I’m loving playing every minute in the Premier League," Taylor told the Lancashire Telegraph. "I want to keep on improving. I feel good and I feel fit. It’s the toughest league in the world, so I’m glad to be a part of it.
"Even when you’re not facing teams in the top six, you’re facing great players. It’s tough. It’s a challenge but I enjoy it."
