Transfer window hard for Burnley - Dyche
Burnley boss Sean Dyche says it is always a challenge for the club to sign new players during transfer windows.
Numerous clubs across the world are attempting to strengthen their squads during the current window and Burnley, who are two places and three points above the Premier League relegation zone, are no different.
Dyche is keen to bring in some reinforcements before the end of January although he admits it is tough for the Clarets to add new players due to the club's financial restrictions.
"We don't bring in players lightly, so if it's someone we think can aid the ongoing process, that's to be considered," he said. "Ideally every manager would get players who just hit the ground running straight away, but in our case, that's very difficult because of the numbers involved.
"We often have to buy players who develop into the side. If you look at the current XI they're all a version of that, just some we've had to pay more for as a start point, and still continue."
