Bluebirds have shown 'concrete' interest in Wesley
Cardiff City have reportedly shown 'concrete' interest in Club Brugge's Wesley, but they have rejected 25m euros from China for him.
Het Laatste Nieuws claim Club Brugge have said no to a massive bid from Guangzhou Evergrande for the Brazilian, who has scored seven goals in 19 league appearances this season.
The 22-year-old has also scored two Champions League goals and Brugge's progression to the Europa League last-32 has strengthened their resolve to keep the deadly frontman.
The Belgian club are determined to keep hold of the player until June and have him tied down to a contract through to 2023, which he only signed in September.
Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock suggested Cardiff were not willing to pay over the odds for their targets, although after Nantes reportedly asked for over £20million for Emiliano Sala, that appears to be the figure clubs will demand for strikers of this calibre.
