Cardiff target Santini
Cardiff have reportedly identified in-form Anderlecht striker Ivan Santini as the man who can add goals to their side.
Boss Neil Warnock is keen to sign a frontman this month and has been heavily linked with a move for Nantes forward Emiliano Sala.
Negotiations are thought to have taken place but with competition for the Argentine's signature only adding to his price tag, reports in the Dutch press say the Bluebirds have sounded out Anderlecht about Santini.
The Croatian has scored 11 times in 23 games this season and Cardiff are believed to have hinted to the Belgian outfit that they would be willing to pay around £5m for the player.
Santini only joined Les Mauves et Blancs in the summer after two years with Caen, having previously played for Standard Liege.
The 29-year-old has four caps for his country but is yet to score his maiden international goal.
