Grujic set for Cardiff return
Marko Grujic looks set to re-join Cardiff from Premier League rivals Liverpool on a season-long loan deal.
The Serbia international spent the second-half of last season on loan with Cardiff and he featured in 13 matches as the Bluebirds secured promotion back to the top-flight for the first time since 2014.
Cardiff have been looking to bring the 22-year-old back to the Welsh capital ever since that loan deal expired and it appears Liverpool are also keen to negotiate another temporary switch for their player, as they want him to gain regular Premier League experience.
Bluebirds’ executive director Ken Choo recently confirmed that the club are unlikely to make too many more permanent additions to their squad during the off-season, but loan moves are still on the agenda and Grujic would fall into that category.
Grujic is reportedly also keen on a return to Cardiff and the deal could be beneficial to both parties, as if he impresses with the Bluebirds then he can boost their survival chances, while also doing his long-term chances at Liverpool the world of good.
