Hammers next for Bamba

3rd December 2018, 11:12 by Nick Harris

Sol Bamba is looking for Cardiff to keep their momentum going at West Ham on Tuesday.

Cardiff made it two wins out of two at home to Wolves on Friday night when they came from behind to pick up the points to take them two points above the relegation zone.

Next up is a visit to the London Stadium where they will take on a Hammers side who sit in mid-table and Bamba wants to keep their run of form going.

"We thrive in important games," Bamba told the club's website.

"When the pressure is on, this group always reacts really well. We know we have to do better away from home too though. Performance-wise it's been good, but unfortunately the results haven't been there. We have to keep at it, and hopefully it will come.

"The start of the season was very difficult, playing a lot of the top teams.

"There are more winnable games now, although the Gaffer doesn't like us using that word, as he wants to keep us on our toes!

"We back ourselves and know that if we keep performing as we have done recently, we can come away with something."
