It has always been positive here – Bacuna
Cardiff midfielder Leandro Bacuna says there is plenty to be positive about ahead of their clash with Liverpool.
Cardiff head into their game against Jurgen Klopp's side off the back of a vital 2-0 victory at Brighton, which keeps them in contention for an unlikely survival bid in this year's Premier League.
Goals from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Sean Morrison were enough to beat Chris Hughton's side as they are now only two points away from safety.
The Bluebirds however have not taken any points away from the league's established top six this season and face a big struggle to get something on Sunday.
Bacuna, a January acquisition from Reading for £3million, says Warnock has fostered a positive atmosphere in the dressing room, and they will approach the Liverpool game with that in mind.
"We gave everything to get the three points [against Brighton] and there were lots of positives to take, so we're looking forward to Sunday now," Bacuna told reporters.
"The gaffer makes the team smile and that's important in having a happy atmosphere around the squad.
"It's always been positive here. No matter how tough it's been, the lads have always believed that we can stay up, so we're still fighting and not far off achieving that."
