No fresh concerns for Bluebirds
Cardiff City have no fresh injury concerns for the visit of Tottenham but striker Kenneth Zohore remains sidelined.
Forward Zohore, who has been linked with a January exit, has a thigh injury and the game against Spurs comes too soon.
Manager Neil Warnock could keep faith with the same starting side that claimed a 1-0 win at Leicester City last time out, but Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Kadeem Harris and Joe Bennett are among those pushing for a recall to the starting line-up.
Warnock expects a stern test against title hopefuls Tottenham and paid tribute to counterpart Mauricio Pochettino.
He told reporters: "It's a massive challenge, they've got so many quality players. One bad result and it's a catastrophe in the press, but it's an exciting club with the prospect of a new stadium and the number of quality English lads is great for us.
"I admire [Mauricio] Pochettino and his staff."
