Warnock show Ampadu interest
Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has revealed he would like to sign Chelsea's Ethan Ampadu on loan in January.
Ampadu has struggled to make an impact at Chelsea since arriving from Exeter in 2017, making just one Premier League appearance, but he is highly regarded at Stamford Bridge.
The 18-year-old impressed for Wales against Republic of Ireland and Denmark during the recent international break and a number of teams are weighing up a loan move in January.
Warnock has revealed he would love to take the defensive midfielder on a temporary deal when the transfer window reopens, stating he would help the Welshman develop.
"I will be speaking to somebody at Chelsea about one or two things," he said at a press conference. "I think they should loan him (Ampadu) to us and I could help him as well.
"He doesn't look out of place. What I like about him is that he is so confident."
