Zohore on course for Toffees return

16th November 2018, 13:24 by Craig Smithson

Neil Warnock is expected to be boosted by the return to fitness of Kenneth Zohore for Cardiff's clash at Everton on November 24.

The 24-year-old Danish forward, who scored nine goals in 36 Championship appearances last term as the Bluebirds secured promotion to the Premier League, has been sidelined for the last two games against Leicester and Brighton with a calf problem.

Cardiff won the Brighton game without Zohore to move level on eight points with Southampton and Crystal Palace in the final positions of safety.

However, news of his possible return at Goodison Park next weekend will boost boss Warnock as he assesses his attacking options for the clash, despite the fact he has only made three starts in the top-flight to date and is yet to break his goal duck.
