Bakayoko reveals Milan hopes
Tiemoue Bakayoko wants to sign a permanent deal with AC Milan but admits the decision is not in his hands and Chelsea have a say.
The 24-year-old joined Milan in the summer after it became clear he would not figure in the plans of new boss Maurizio Sarri, and he has gone on to make 26 appearances for the club.
Bakayoko has impressed during that time and is clearly enjoying his time at the San Siro, so much so that he would like to stay on a permanent basis if a deal can be agreed.
The Frenchman has three years remaining on his current deal and Chelsea will have a huge say in what happens next.
Even if they are happy for him to leave, the fee will be high due to the length of contract and it remains to be seen if Milan will match it.
“Milan are a legendary club. Who wouldn't like to stay at a club like Milan for a long time?” he told French newspaper Nice Matin.
“Then you have the atmosphere at San Siro, which is extraordinary. Things are going well for the club and I right now. Having said that, I'm still under contract with Chelsea for the next three years. I don't have all the cards.”
