Barca ace to snub PSG for Chelsea
Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho would turn down a move to Paris Saint-Germain in favour of joining Chelsea, reports claim.
The Brazilian appears to be heading for the Nou Camp exit door following a disappointing spell with Barca, where he has failed to live up to expectations, and he will not be short of offers.
PSG are known to be very interested, as are Chelsea, who see him as the perfect replacement for Eden Hazard following his switch to Real Madrid, but much depends on the transfer embargo.
It would need to be lifted or at least frozen during the appeal process to give Chelsea a chance of doing a deal, which for now gives PSG the edge.
However, Coutinho will have a huge say on where he goes next, and reports are rife suggesting he wants to return to England, where he starred for Liverpool before heading to Barca.
The Catalan giants will demand a fee of 100million euros, which would not be a problem for the Blues with the money from the sale of Hazard burning a hole in their pocket.
