Chelsea boss hopes for Hazard stay
Manager Maurizio Sarri hopes Eden Hazard extends his stay with Chelsea as he says the Belgian forward is the "best in Europe".
Quotes emerged earlier this week, via France's RMC, of Hazard saying he had made a decision on his future.
The 28-year-old is due to fall out of contract at the end of next season and if he doesn't sign a new deal by the end of the current campaign Chelsea may seek to cash in on their star this summer, rather than risk losing him as a free agent.
Real Madrid have been linked with Hazard at regular intervals in recent years and, following the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo and with doubts over Gareth Bale's Bernabeu future, they are expected to make a move when the transfer window reopens.
Barcelona have also been mooted as suitors, but Sarri hopes Hazard opts to stick with Chelsea and urged the forward to make a decision.
"I speak every day with Eden but about his position on the pitch," Hazard told reporters. "I will really be very happy with him if he wants to stay because he is the best in Europe. So I would be really very happy, but it is up to him. I want to see him happy. He has to decide."
