Chelsea star impressed by early signs
Pedro has been impressed by Frank Lampard's "very good ideas" after the new Blues boss began his reign with a draw against Bohemians.
Lampard has taken on a big job after just one year's worth of managing Derby and will oversee a dressing room full of highly-prized players - many with experience of playing under some of the world's greatest names.
Pedro, who won the Champions League under Pep Guariola at Barcelona, has already spotted encouraging signs from Lampard.
He said: "We've been training really hard with Frank this week.
"It's very hard work, high intensity. We're pressing a lot without the ball, when we've got the ball we have to move it quickly, and in transition (we have to be) very good.
"It's very good to work under Frank. He's a legend at this club. He's a very good coach with very good ideas but it's only five days working with him and for the future we have to prepare very well this month."
The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw by Bohemians in their first pre-season game on Wednesday after Eric Molloy's 89th-minute goal cancelled out Michy Batshuayi's opener.
