Chelsea star wanted in Milan
AC Milan would like to keep Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent basis but will wait until the end of the season before making a decision.
The Chelsea midfielder is currently on a season-long loan and has started to impress for the Serie A giants after a difficult start, making 25 appearances in all competitions.
Milan would have to pay £30million to secure a deal and AC Milan Sporting director Leornardo says they are keen, while the player is also open to a move.
"I have a contract with Chelsea," he said. "Right now I just want to finish the season in the top four. After that we'll think about it."
Bakayoko has also praised coach Gennaro Gattuso and feels the manager has had a major influence on his leadership role in the Milan squad this season.
He told Corriere dello Sport: "For me, he is the boss. A nice person who helped me a lot. In the first 2-3 months, when things were not all right, we talked every day. But now there is no need because we understand each other with a look.
"Our relationship is perfect. If I am a leader, as Gattuso says? I do not know? I try to give everything to the team and the fans. I give 100% because I have a big heart. It is important when the coach believes you are a leader."
