No holding back for Slavia man

Slavia Prague striker Mick van Buren has told Chelsea not to expect an easy ride in Thursday's Europa League tie.

The pair meet at the Sinobo Stadium in the first-leg of their quarter-final bout and the Czech Liga leaders will be putting their excellent home record on the line, having not lost in front of their fans since August.

Chelsea have the advantage on paper but Slavia have not been afraid to take the game to visiting teams this season and have already beaten Bordeaux, Zenit St Petersburg and Sevilla on their own patch.

Van Buren has warned Maurizio Sarri's men that they will not be afforded a warm welcome to the Czech capital, hinting that the Cervenobili will aim to dictate terms from the off.

"Several top players are playing: N'Golo Kante, David Luiz, you name it," he told Voetbalzone. "You know that. We certainly have respect, but we will certainly not restrain ourselves.

"We are just going to play our own game and hope for the best

"In principle, we have little to lose. We have to wait and see how it goes in the first game, then you can decide whether you still have a serious chance or whether it is practically over. If we can keep them to zero then anything is possible."
