Sarri not drawn over striker link
In order not to upset Eddie Howe, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri refuses to discuss a move for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
After the Carabao Cup win over the Cherries in midweek Sarri's assistant boss, Gianfranco Zola, admitted the Blues were admirers of the striker who has broken into the England squad this season.
Sarri though is reluctant to speculate over the striker, who has been in excellent form this season, as he does not want to upset his friend Howe, manager at the Cherries.
"I don't know about Wilson because, as you know, Eddie is a friend and I want to see him very happy," Sarri said when asked about Wilson on Friday.
Meanwhile Howe has no intention of selling his striker, when asked whether there was any scenario which could see Bournemouth sell the England striker in January, Howe said: "Not from my perspective, no."
