Wilson snub to push Blues on to fresh targets
Chelsea have been warned by Bournemouth that Callum Wilson is not for sale this month so must look at new striker targets.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is desperate for a new forward in the January transfer window with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud struggling in the first half of the season and Eden Hazard regularly being used in a 'false nine' role.
A link to Wilson was flagged up before Christmas when Chelsea's assistant boss Gianfranco Zola admitted they were one of several clubs looking at the 26-year-old, who has scored 10 goals in 23 games for Cherries this season.
However, despite bringing in Dominic Solanke from Liverpool earlier in the week, Bournemouth insist that they do not want to sell Wilson and are under no pressure to do so from a financial aspect.
The Blues are almost certain to move on to other targets with Paris saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani and AC Milan hitman Gonzalo Higuain both being mentioned.
