Kelly signs new Eagles contract
Crystal Palace defender Martin Kelly has signed a new contract with the club to extend his stay until 2021.
The former Liverpool and one-cap England man, who has figured at both right-back and centre-back, joined the club in 2014.
He has made 79 appearances for the Eagles, scoring once in an FA Cup tie against Tottenham in 2016.
He has generally been used as a back-up player but is seen as a valuable member of the squad and has expressed his delight at agreeing a new three-year-deal.
"Being part of a squad that's remained in the Premier League since I came, that's been a real challenge," Kelly said.
"We've had a great set of lads and we've got a great set of lads now. We added well to the squad, so it's always been exciting being at Palace, and I've loved the challenge of trying to stay in such a good league and really enjoyed my time here.”
