Palace defender on United radar
Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka had emerged as a possible target for Manchester United ahead of the summer window.
Wan-Bissaka forced his way into the Eagles side last season and has firmly established himself as a regular this year.
The 21-year-old was tipped to secure his first England call-up this month but ultimately missed out on Gareth Southgate's squad for the games against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.
Palace are keen to keep hold but their resolve could be tested if United make a move when the transfer window reopens.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was confirmed as the new permanent manager at Old Trafford on Thursday, apparently wants to prioritise English players and boost the club's home-grown contingent.
Wan-Bissaka has been mooted as a possible target, although United may be keen to offload one of their current defenders before they make a move for the right-back.
