Palace forward returns for Hammers' visit
Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is available to face West Ham as the club have appealed his additional one-match ban.
The 26-year-old forward missed last weekend's win over Fulham but is expected to return to the starting line-up when the Hammers visit Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed former West Ham men Cheikhou Kouyate and James Tomkins will miss the game due to respective ankle and hamstring complaints.
"Kouyate hasn’t recovered. He’s not available," he told reporters. "Julian Speroni picked up a minor injury. Unfortunately, James Tomkins can’t play."
Hodgson expects a test against West Ham and paid tribute to counterpart Manuel Pellegrini.
He said: "I have a lot of respect for what he’s done in the game. He was always first class when I was England manager [and Pellegrini was in charge of Manchester City]. I would like to think we have a good relationship.
"We always prepare for the best XI. He’s only been there a short time, to get that level of consistency takes a bit of time. We saw them play well against Liverpool."
