Palace join Adams pursuit
Birmingham City forward Che Adams is reportedly a summer transfer target for Crystal Palace.
With Christian Benteke failing to fire for Palace and Michy Batshuayi expected to be sent back to Chelsea when his loan expires at the end of the season, the Eagles are in desperate need of some attacking reinforcements during the summer.
It is being claimed Roy Hodgson has earmarked former England Under-20 international Adams as the club's main transfer target, with the ex-England boss hoping to beat a long line of suitors to the forward's signature.
The 22-year-old has helped fire Birmingham to safety this season, with 22 goals from 44 Championship appearances, and his impressive performances have not gone unnoticed at several Premier League teams.
Adams, whose current contract expires in the summer of 2022, is expected to leave St Andrew's in the upcoming window although the Blues will not accept anything less than £10million.
Burnley, Southampton and Newcastle United are all said to be keeping an eye on Adams' situation and will also be vying for his signature.
James Mason grew up in Northumberland so is entrenched in both the football and golf scenes. A low handicap golfer, he also follows Newcastle United and predicts big things under Rafa Benitez.
