Palace target tipped for Elland Road stay

24th January 2019, 10:07 by Alex Jack

Crystal Palace will move their attentions to other targets after Jack Clarke's agent Ian Harte ruled out a move for the Leeds talent.

Palace were thought to be battling with Southampton for the highly-rated winger, who has impressed this season under Marcelo Bielsa with the Championship frontrunners.

However, it looks like the Whites have no intention on allowing the 18-year-old to move on to pastures new this month and Harte has taken to social media to rule out an imminent exit from Elland Road.

When asked if Clarke will feature in Leeds' top-of-the-table encounter with Norwich City on February 2 at Elland Road, he tweeted: "Jack will definitely be there and I hope he will be starting!"

The Eagles are thought to be eager to sign a new winger, especially with new rumours circulating about a potential exit for Wilfried Zaha, as Borussia Dortmund have reignited their interest.
