Skipper on penalty success
When it comes to stepping up from the penalty spot, Crystal Palace skipper Luka Milivojevic says confidence is everything.
The Eagles ace has converted all but one of his spot kicks this season and most recently sent Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Mat Ryan the wrong way.
A lot of players stand back a bit when it comes to stepping up to take responsibility from 12 yards but the midfielder says it's all about confidence.
"When I am in front of the ball I’m just very focused," Milivojevic told Planet Football.
"For 99% of my penalties I already know even before the game which side I want to pick because I practice.
"I never think that I am going to miss.
"The whole time I think that I will score. If I put the ball where and how I want to place it, I know that I am very close to scoring.
"Now I score many, I have more confidence, more belief, and I am more experienced. It is something that plays a big part in taking penalties."
