Tomkins looking forward to West Ham trip
Crystal Palace defender James Tomkins says facing former club West Ham no longer feels like a special occasion.
Palace head to the Hammers on Saturday and Tomkins is targeting a three-point haul as the Eagles look to bounce back after a midweek defeat at Brighton.
Tomkins spent eight years with West Ham after coming through the club's youth system but he insists he views his former side as just "another team" now after two years at Palace.
"I try and leave it to the side that they're my old team now," he told Premier League Productions. "My first few times playing them was a bit strange, obviously. I was there for 20 years.
"Now, it seems like they're just another team and a team that we want to get points from. I always get a warm welcome back there, which is nice. But it's an extra incentive playing against your old team. We're looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to it, but I look forward to every game."
