Calvert-Lewin excited for Hammers test
Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin says they need to hit the ground running when they take on West Ham United this week.
The England youth international was part of the side that beat Chelsea 2-0 before the international break.
Goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson eased the pressure on Marco Silva as they down the Blues and allowed the Toffees to move into 11th in the league table.
Silva's men have the minimum aim of a top-10 finish and a win against West Ham could help them climb above the Hammers on Saturday into ninth.
When asked about the game, Calvert-Lewin told the club's official website: "West Ham are one place above us and if we win we go above them so it's going to be a tough test but it's one we're looking forward to and we'll take the momentum from the Chelsea game.
"Many of the lads have been on internationals but I'm sure we'll pick up where we left off when we get back. It's a big game for us, like every game is for the rest of the season. We'll be focussing on how we can go down there and beat them."
