Coleman eyes European spot
Seamus Coleman says the target this season is to finish in seventh spot and win a Europa League place for Everton.
First-half goals from Kurt Zouma and Bernard ensured Everton picked up a win at the London stadium on Saturday.
Zouma headed the Toffees ahead from a corner in the fifth minute and Brazilian winger Bernard tapped in his first Premier League goal thanks to more poor defending just after the half-hour mark.
Everton climbed to ninth with their second win in succession.
Everton skipper Seamus Coleman told the club's website: "We want to finish strongly and keep aiming for that seventh place.
"We now we want to keep building.
"We wanted to be focused and now we need to keep going like this."
