Dzeko in summer Toffees move link
Everton are being linked with a summer swoop to sign AS Roma's former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.
The Bosnia international will be 33 on March 17, but he remains a hot prospect in front of goal having scored 24 goals for the Italian Serie A side last term, while he already has 12 in 28 appearances so far this season.
Dzeko, who scored 72 goals in 189 appearances at City before joining Roma in 2015, will be out of contract in summer 2020 and reports in Italy claim they are unwilling to offer him a new deal.
Therefore, it is likely that the Giallorossi will look to sell Dzeko in the summer while they can command a fee for the player which means the Toffees could pick him up for around £13million.
Despite the fact that any club who signs Dzeko will know he has no re-saleable value because of his age, he could provide a missing link in boss Marco Silva's forward line next season.
In addition to Everton, Premier League rivals West Ham and Crystal Palace have also been linked.
