Eagles linked to shock swoop on Toffees' squad
Crystal Palace have reportedly made the first move to sign out-of-favour Everton striker Oumar Niasse.
Reports in Senegal claim the Toffees forward could be about to join his international teammate Cheikhou Kouyate at Selhurst Park.
Wiwsport report that this is the first offer made for Niasse, who is unsettled at Everton because of his lack of first-team opportunities this season, and that he won't leave for anything less than £6.5million.
The 28-year-old, who cost Everton £15million in 2016, has made just five substitute appearances for the Toffees - totalling just 58 minutes - since Marco Silva took charge. Palace are casting the net around for strikers after pulling out of a deal to sign Liverpool's Dominic Solanke because of concerns over his fitness.
Niasse has been on the bench for three of the last four Premier League fixtures and is ready to play.
