Everton exit nearing for Bolasie
Championship promotion hopefuls Leeds United are lining up a summer bid for Everton's Yannick Bolasie, reports claim.
Bolasie has endured an injury-ravaged time since arriving at Everton from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016 and his stay at Goodison Park looks to be coming to an end when the next transfer window opens.
The 29-year-old spent the first half of this campaign on loan at Aston Villa but after scoring just two goals from 21 Championship appearances, he stay at Villa Park was brought to a premature end in January.
Anderlecht managed to acquire the DR Congo international's services for the second half of the season and he has enjoyed a better time in Belgium, scoring four times from eight league matches.
The Purple and White are reportedly keen to make the move into a permanent stay although they could face stiff competition from Leeds, who are pushing for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Having missed out on Swansea's Daniel James in January, Marcelo Bielsa has earmarked Bolasie as a possible summer signing and the Whites are rumoured to be willing to offer around £10million.
James Mason grew up in Northumberland so is entrenched in both the football and golf scenes. A low handicap golfer, he also follows Newcastle United and predicts big things under Rafa Benitez.
