Everton starlet excited by loan chance

19th July 2019, 07:39 by Alex Jack

Everton midfielder Josh Bowler says he's excited to continue his development after securing a season-long loan at Hull City.

The 20-year-old completed the deal on Thursday to join Grant McCann's squad who will be looking to push for promotion back to the Premier League this season.

Bowler joined Everton from QPR back in 2017 but is yet to make a senior appearance for the Toffees under manager Marco Silva.

The youngster was part of the side which won the Premier League 2 title and Premier League Cup in 2018/19 and now is looking forward to getting some first-team football under his belt.

Bowler told the club's official site: "I'm very excited to be here because's it's a massive club.

"As soon as I heard of Hull's interest, I wanted to get the move through. It's taken a bit of time but I'm just thankful to be here now and raring to go ahead of the forthcoming season."
