Gueye has put PSG saga behind him
Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye says he's demonstrated on the pitch that he is over the disappointment of not joining PSG in January.
The Senegal international was strongly linked with the French champions during the January transfer window and the Toffees were forced to reject several offers for the midfielder's services.
The 29-year-old made it clear that he wanted to be allowed to speak to the Parisians but Everton were steadfast in their decision not to entertain any interest in one of the key cogs in the middle of the park.
Gueye decided against pushing too hard for a transfer and feels he has got over the disappointment of missing out on the switch quickly in order to concentrate on the remainder of Everton's season.
"Everyone knows I was a little disappointed not to join Paris Saint-Germain because they are a big club and every player dreams of playing for this kind of club, to play in the Champions League, to win trophies", Gueye told Canal+.
"I managed it rather well, I was able to quickly resume and focus on my club Everton and try to finish the season. I was ready to go, but it did not happen."
