Magpies keeper linked with Toffees
Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman could be on the move this summer and is a reported target for Everton.
The 22-year-old is under contract with the Magpies until 2020, but it has been suggested they could look to cash in this year to ensure they get a good price for him.
Woodman has struggled to force his way into the first-team set-up at St James' Park and there is no sign of him penning a new deal, hence Newcastle's eagerness to cash in.
Everton are well fixed in the goalkeeper department as they have Maarten Stekelenburg as an able deputy to England international Jordan Pickford.
Also Woodman is unlikely to swap his situation at Newcastle for being down the pecking order at Goodison Park and will want assurances over his future before moving on.
Unless Everton have plans to move Stekelenburg on, a move for Woodman looks unlikely.
