Mina injury scare for Everton
Everton defender Yerry Mina could be facing more time on the sidelines after picking up an injury in Colombia's game with South Korea.
The 24-year-old started the international friendly clash in Seoul but was replaced by Barcelona's Jeison Murillo in the 42nd minute after pulling up with a thigh issue when clearing the ball downfield.
The ex-Barca man immediately signalled he could not continue and Everton will now have to await the results of further medical examinations to determine the extent of the issue.
The South American's time at Goodison Park has been blighted by injuries, managing just 14 appearances in total.
Having missed the start of the season with a foot injury, Min recently sat out six Premier League games with a recurrence of the same issue, making his return to the starting line-up in the 2-0 win over Chelsea before the international break.
Mina now looks sets to join Lucas Digne (hamstring) in the treatment room upon his return to Merseyside.
The only good news on the injury front for head coach Marco Silva is the expected returns from Phil Jagielka and Andre Gomes for Saturday's trip to West Ham.
