Toffees outcast attracting Spanish interest

13th January 2018, 15:01 by Bobbie Jackson

Everton forward Sandro Ramirez is understood to be on the radar of Spanish duo Villarreal and Valencia.

The 22-year-old has flopped following his summer move from Malaga, having scored just once in 15 appearances under three different managers.

Sandro was handed a four-year contract at Goodison Park after Everton triggered his £5.2million release clause but it appears his time in England could be coming to an end prematurely.

The Barcelona academy product has been linked with a return to Malaga, while hometown club Las Palmas are also understood to be interested.

However, Villarreal and Valencia have now reportedly joined the race to snap him up and Everton will be delighted to have so much competition for their man as they attempt to recoup their initial outlay on the forward.
