Fenerbahce ready to swoop for Schurrle

16th April 2019, 18:03 by Aidan Perkins

On-loan Fulham forward Andre Schurrle's next destination could be Fenerbahce when he moves on from Craven Cottage this summer.

The Borussia Dortmund man is on a season-long loan at Fulham but will not be staying on in the Championship next season and is currently in talks with several clubs.

He is initially expected to go back to BVB but appears unlikely to stay there long-term and a switch to Turkey with Fener could be on the cards.

Schurrle has also been linked with another Turkish side, Besiktas, in recent weeks, while other clubs from across Europe are keeping an eye on the World Cup winner's situation.

The 28-year-old has scored six goals for Fulham in the Premier League this season and has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until June 2021.
