Fulham defender set for recall

4th January 2019, 17:12 by Bobbie Jackson

Claudio Ranieri is likely to recall Calum Chambers to Fulham’s starting XI for Sunday’s FA Cup meeting with Oldham.

The versatile defender, who joined on loan from Arsenal over the summer, was ineligible to face his parent club on New Year’s Day.

Chambers should be drafted back in as Fulham look to avoid an embarrassing defeat at home to the League Two outfit.

Summer signing Alfie Mawson has struggled with injuries this season and is unlikely to feature due to a knee problem, while midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is also on the treatment table.
