Fulham expecting Spurs bid

5th April 2019, 20:00 by Tom Hill

Tottenham are leading the race to sign Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon this summer, according to reports in the English media.

Sessegnon has endured a frustrating season so far after being unable to keep his side in the top flight.

Fulham's relegation was confirmed in midweek after their 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road. Sessegnon had been expected to be a bright spark this year but he has only scored two goals in 30 appearances.

But at 18, the Roehampton-born star still has the world at his feet and he could still have a future in the Premier League.

Manchester United have been linked in recent months but it now appears that he will be staying in London.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is on the lookout for new signings this summer and a bid of £25million is set to be enough for a transfer.
