Fulham forward Kamara closes in on Turkish move

31st January 2019, 10:54 by Gareth Freeman

Fulham forward Aboubakar Kamara is set to join Turkish club Yeni Malatyaspor on loan for the rest of the season.

Kamara is still suspended by Fulham after an incident at the club's training ground and prior to that was involved in a fall-out with fellow forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Manager Claudio Ranieri had suggested the Frenchman could yet return to the first-team picture but the Cottagers have instead managed to find a temporary club for Kamara.

The 23-year-old has arrived in Turkey to complete his loan move and has been pictured with Yeni Malatyaspor supporters ahead of his temporary switch.

It remains unclear if the Super Lig club have an option or obligation to sign Kamara outright at the end of the season.
