Fulham forward wants unity
Andre Schurrle has called on fans to stick together over the next few months and insists he was misquoted over claims he wants to quit.
The German joined Fulham on a two-year loan deal from Borussia Dortmund last summer but has struggled to make an impact.
Fulham sit 19th, seven points adrift of safety, and are in serious danger of making an immediate return to the Championship.
Schurrle spoke with German magazine Kicker earlier this week and the translated interview claimed his loan deal "would end with relegation".
However, the 28-year-old insists he was misquoted and says the article was "out of context and trying to produce a false headline".
He has also urged fans to "stick together and fight until the end" as they embark on a crucial few months.
