Fulham youngsters return home
Stephen Humphrys and Elijah Adebayo have returned to Fulham following loan spells with Scunthorpe and Swindon respectively.
Humprhys joined Fulham as a youth player in 2013 and he boasts three senior appearances, having turned out twice in the Championship last term, but he wasn’t in Slavisa Jokanovic’s plans at the start of 2018-19.
A huge influx of players, including the signings of Aleksandar Mitrović and Luciano Vietto, forced the 21-year-old down the pecking order and he was loaned to Scunthorpe.
He netted five times in 20 appearances for the League One side but his initial loan was only on a short term deal.
Adebayo is another academy product and he was sent out on loan for a fourth time after agreeing a half-season deal with Swindon.
The forward bagged four goals in his first 10 games in League Two but he struggled to maintain those levels as he netted just once more before leaving the County Ground.
The pair aren’t expected to be involved in the first team action in West London and will instead link up with Mark Pembridge’s PL2 side.
