Markovic to give his all in survival bid
Lazar Markovic is desperate to help Fulham survive in the Premier League this season and will do all he can to ensure it happens.
The 24-year-old Serbia international midfielder joined the Cottagers on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season on deadline day and has been handed the task of trying to help keep the Londoners in the top flight.
It won't be easy given that Fulham sit seven points adrift of safety with just 13 games remaining, but Markovic has experience of being in this situation in the past.
The player, who has failed to make an impression at Anfield after arriving from Benfica in 2014, had spent loans at Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon, Hull and Anderlecht.
It was during his spell with Hull that Markovic impressed as he scored two goals in 12 appearances although the Tigers still fell narrowly short in their survival mission at the end of the 2016-17 season.
But having experienced a relegation scrap, Markovic has promised to help Claudio Ranieri's men pick up the points required to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
