Mitrovic could opt for China move
Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande are said to be leading the chase to sign in-demand Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The Serbia international seems virtually certain to leave the Cottagers this summer following their recent relegation back to the Championship with several clubs, both at home and abroad, keen.
Already at least five Premier League clubs - Tottenham, Everton, Southampton, Leicester and West Ham - have been linked but it could be that the former Newcastle man heads to China instead.
Reports say Evergrande, who were runners-up in last season's Chinese Super League, are prepared to pay Fulham £50million for Mitrovic - more than English clubs would likely fork out - while they can also offer him the prospect of a lucrative high salary.
Mitrovic, who has hit an impressive 10 league goals this season, will make a decision on his future at the end of the campaign but a big-money move to China may well be too hard to turn down.
