Parker the pick for influential Fulham duo - Report

Ryan Sessegnon and Tom Cairney 'want Scott Parker to be offered the Fulham job full-time' and are reportedly convinced he will get it.

The London Evening Standard claim the influential duo would like Parker to remain at Craven Cottage on a permanent basis.

Fulham's recent team performances suggest they have plenty of support from within the dressing room for their view as Parker has overseen back-to-back wins against Everton and Bournemouth.

Saturday's 1-0 victory at the Vitality Stadium was Fulham's first on the road this season and it is thought to have boosted Parker's chances of landing the job.

The Standard state that the Fulham hierarchy have been impressed with the work the interim boss has done since he was installed as Claudio Ranieri's temporary replacement.

The 38-year-old has 'won many admirers for the way he has tackled the job' and 'transformed the mood around the club' ahead of an important summer where recruitment will be crucial to determining Fulham's chances of mounting a promotion challenge next season.
