Sabaly negotiations ongoing with Fulham
Fulham are understood to have opened negotiations with Bordeaux over a deal for right-back Youssouf Sabaly.
Cottagers boss Claudio Ranieri has made a new full-back one of his top priorities for the January transfer window after deciding to end Timothy Fosu-Mensah's season-long loan deal with Manchester United early.
The west London outfit have been linked with Leicester left-back Christian Fuchs, a player Ranieri knows well from his time at King Power Stadium, although the Italian refused to speculate on the Austrian when asked about him specifically at his Thursday press conference.
It is now understood Fulham could move for Sabaly, who caught the eye for Senegal at the World Cup, resulting in him nearly completing a move to Napoli during the last transfer window, only for the deal to collapse.
Since returning to domestic action, the 25-year-old has struggled for game time at Bordeaux, managing 15 appearances in all competitions.
Sky Sports are reporting Fulham have opened talks with the French outfit and are hopeful of reaching a deal for Sabaly, who can also operate at left-back.
