Sessegnon rumours resurface
Tottenham are again being linked with a summer swoop for Ryan Sessegnon, but Fulham are ready to drive a hard bargain.
The youngster was influential in helping the Cottagers win promotion through the Championship play-offs last term but has struggled to kick on in his maiden campaign in the Premier League.
At just 18, a lack of experience has perhaps cost him but there have been glimmers of promise and clubs are again circling following Fulham's relegation from the Premier League.
Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have all been mentioned but it is Spurs who have been most frequently linked with his signature.
Mauricio Pochettino has earned praise for his willingness to introduce youngsters into the squad and sees Sessegnon as a long-term solution down the left-hand side.
The Argentine and his chairman Daniel Levy are likely to try and get Fulham to climb down from the player's previous £50m asking price but despite accepting that he is likely to leave, Fulham will not let their starlet go easily.
In fact, with interest from elsewhere, they are expected to try and push Tottenham hard as they aim to get as close as possible to their valuation of 12 months ago.
