Villa eyeing triple Fulham swoop
Fulham trio Stefan Johansen, Floyd Ayite and Neeskens Kebano are reportedly targets for Aston Villa ahead of Thursday’s deadline.
The trio were all involved in Fulham’s promotion from the Championship last season, however, they have struggled to earn regular football in 2018-19.
A huge influx of signings over the summer has left Claudio Ranieri with a large squad and it appears Johansen, Ayite and Kebano aren’t in his plans as they battle against relegation.
Johansen has been linked with the likes of AC Milan, Leeds, Middlesbrough and West Brom this month, while Kebano is also understood to be on the radar of a few clubs in the Championship.
Reports have now emerged claiming Villa, who are four points adrift of the Championship play-off places, are hoping to bring in all three to boost their promotion hopes.
Dean Smith feels their experience of helping Fulham out of the second-tier last term could prove crucial in the second half of the campaign.
