Addicks boss sounds defiant over Grant
The Terriers will aim to complete the signing of Charlton Athletic striker Karlan Grant for £1.5million plus add-ons on Monday.
The 21-year-old has scored 14 goals in 28 League One games this season, but missed a penalty in the Addicks' 0-0 draw with Peterborough on Saturday.
Charlton manager Lee Bowyer reiterated that Grant was still his player after the match and, when asked whether he could reveal any information on the striker's future, he told Londonnewsonline: "Not at the moment.
"He's our player. He just gave us 90 minutes out there and gave me everything. He's our player and he showed that today. He gave everything for us. He ran and fought for every ball.
"He's still our player unless something changes before the window. But at the moment he's our player."
Grant could become new Town boss Jan Siewert's first signing since taking over at the club who have scored the fewest number of goals this season - 13 - and sit bottom of the Premier League table.
