Bowyer fears exit for Terriers target Grant
Huddersfield are trying to snare Karlan Grant from Charlton and Addicks boss Lee Bowyer admits he fears the forward will depart.
The Terriers have reportedly opened talks with the League One club as they bid to land the £2million-rated 21-year-old forward in the January transfer window.
Bowyer is desperate to keep hold of Grant, who is also a target for Scottish giants Rangers, but he accepts he faces an uphill battle to convince the forward to see out the season at The Valley.
"Do I think he’ll go? I hope he doesn’t," he told This is London.
"We wouldn’t be able to replace him, not what he brings to us, I hope he doesn’t go - I’ve said that to him on more than one occasion.
"I’m a realist and I have to be honest, he’s a good player."
