Schindler sets sights on safety
Christopher Schindler has urged Huddersfield to work through their current difficulties, starting on Wednesday against Burnley.
The Terriers lost all seven of their Premier League games in December, a run that saw them drop to the bottom of the table.
However, a win on Wednesday would see them move within two points of the Clarets and reignite their survival push.
Schindler admits the situation does not look good but does see positives in their plight.
Rather than shy away from the issues, the German defender believes it is the perfect chance for his side to play without fear.
"Maybe when your back is against the wall and you have the feeling that you have nothing to lose, because it can't get worse than it is at the minute, then it gives you more freedom and gives you the mindset to try things," he told HTTV.
"Maybe this can help us turn it around for a few games; that's what I'm hoping for."
